Environmental Education
Visits & Educational Tours
The Mountaineer's Nature Reserve operates as a living laboratory of environmental education — theory meets practice in a real conservation environment. Visits happen exclusively in organized groups and by prior booking.
Environmental education as a pillar
Raising awareness is as important as protecting. The guided experiences at the reserve allow participants to:
- Understand the importance of the araucaria and its associated biodiversity;
- Learn about the protection of springs and watercourses;
- Observe real ecological restoration practices;
- Understand the rational use of nature;
- Reflect on the relationship between society, economy and conservation.
Who can visit
Schools and universities: guided trails, classroom activities, hands-on experiences and content aligned with environmental and scientific topics.
Companies: sustainability and ESG experiences, team engagement and training focused on environmental awareness.
Organized groups: families, associations and research groups who want to experience the reserve in a structured, low-impact way.
Courses and experiences
- Apiculture and meliponiculture — keeping stinging and stingless bees and sustainable honey production.
- Themed weeks — planting, restoration and environmental education.
- Low-impact events and sporting actions, aligned with environmental management.
Booking
All activities require prior booking, with analysis of the group profile, educational goals, time of year and the reserve's environmental capacity. To start, contact us via WhatsApp or e-mail.
